Jordi Álvarez, was born in Bogotá on April 14, 1986. Always linked to soccer at different levels, including minor divisions of Millionaires, 1 year in Italy and 3 years in Spain in regional categories, he made his career in Economics at the Universities of Salamanca, Spain, and Copenhagen Business School in Denmark.

After graduating, he went around the world working for 6 years at the World Bank/International Finance Corporation, living in the Dominican Republic, Peru, Haiti and Washington, during which time he also founded the NGO Help to Haiti as a family initiative to help the victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake.

He never gave up his passion for soccer and is currently in charge of ISG's finance and investments.
